Welcome! I’m April, a Colorado Rocky Mountain native, a forever learner, and I value growing our own vegetables for clean eating. My family heritage goes back to farming in the Denver area since the 1900’s. 

A passion for growing vegetables ignited when we moved to the mountain elevation of 7,400 ft (above sea level), where winter nearly covered 2+ seasons out of the year. Gardening was challenging, yet season after season, my gardens and vegetable harvests continued to thrive and that’s how Rocky Mountain Home and Garden began. 

I’ve created gardens from Metro-Denver, to Northern Colorado, to the Central Mountain Region of the state. Today I live at 8,400ft above sea level and help people take the guesswork out of gardening, get the most from their gardens of all sizes, feel empowered, and find joy in the process!
